The Weyburn Golf Club held their annual Crocus Masters Men’s Open golf tournament on August 22 and 23. Approximately 58 men competed in the tournament which saw Saturday being shortened to only nine holes due to rain and wind and Sunday’s round extended to 27 holes.
The results were:
Men’s division – championship flight: First place, Marshall Bakken – 149; second Carter Hilkewich – 154 and third Tanner White – 154.
First flight: First place, Kane Altwasser – 158; second Nolan Rohatyn – 161 and third Lach Reeve – 161.
Second flight: First place, Murray Ballman – 171; second Sean White – 173 and third Jerod Rommann – 178.
Third flight: First place, Danny Currie – 176; second Ritchie Lee – 176 and third Chad Brock – 181.
Fourth flight: First place, Jim Linnell – 188; second Jordan Zazula – 193 and third Lloyd Kerowatski – 194.
Senior division – championship flight: First place, Don Sanders – 166; second John Stirton – 173 and third Kevin Bakken – 175.
First flight: First place, Brad Henderson – 189; Ed Henheffer – 190 and third Blair Pateman – 196.
