Weyburn Red Wing defenseman, Tyler Borstmayer was named Canalta Hotels SJHL Defenseman of the Week. Borstmayer, from St. Brieux, Sask., had one assist in each of Weyburn's victories last weekend, as the Wings stayed within striking distance of a playoff spot. Tyler, who now has four points in 21-games on the season, is a big 6'4" 210 lbs defenseman and he figures to continue playing a key role for the club as they look to move into the fifth and final playoff spot in the Sherwood Conference.
