Weyburn Wrestling tryouts were held for Southeast Zone athletes November 30 with several Weyburn Cobra athletes making the team.
The Weyburn boys making the team were Aaron Hemphill, Tyler Fleming, Ryan Verbeem, Brody Glover, Nathan Bradley, with Mason Nikabakt of Sedley.
The girls making the team from Weyburn are Katelyn Franklin , Frankie Gawryluik, Kaylee Bjarnason with Haley Sheck and Danica Pedrick of Wilcox and Jaiden Foster of Balgonie.
The coach will be Ken Kot and team manager Peyton Bengtson from the Weyburn Cobras Club.
The team is to compete in the Saskatchewan Winter Games being held in Prince Albert February 16-22, 2014.
