Four young wrestlers from Weyburn recently participated in the 2012 Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association's Regional Wrestling event held March 3 at St. Mary's High School in Prince Albert. In the male category, Kevin Franklin won the gold medal in the 59 kg weight class, Justin Chuckry took seventh place in the 69 kg and Kenton Baumgartner won bronze in the 77 kg category. In the female category, Ashley Bradley placed fifth in the 56 kg class.
