The Carlyle Cougars Novice 8 & Under team, played two games last week. They hosted Redvers, on Saturday, November 24 and visited Bienfait on Sunday, November 25.
On Saturday, versus Redvers our team played hard. It was steady back and forth action, but the Cougars we were unable to capitalize.
Drayden Arndt was our net-minder, who did an outstanding job. Unfortunately, we were out-gunned 8 - 15. Goals were scored by Colby Cuddington and Cooper Humphries, with an assist to Caydence Chapman.
The Sunday game in Bienfait was an all-out team effort. All the kids came to play and they played hard! We had some beautiful passing plays resulting in a 14 - 4 win for Carlyle. The goalie, Drayden Arndt was a wall! Carlyle's goal scorers were Caydence Chapman, Colby Cuddington, Krimson Standingready and Mitch Himmelspach. Assists went to Darcie Rae, Everett Brown, Tyrell Dixon, Caydence Chapman and Colby Cuddington. Great job!
This week the 8 & unders play on Friday, Nov 30th in Kipling, on Dec. 1 we host Lampman at 10:15 a.m. and on Sunday we play in a Redvers tournament.
