WEYBURN – The Weyburn Artistic Swimming Club announced that Haley Copeland has qualified to attend the Canadian National Artistic Swimming Qualifiers at the end of March. This year’s qualifier is being held in Saskatoon at the Lawson Aquatic Center.

Haley resides in Estevan, but currently swims with the WASC. Haley qualified after placing third in the “Junior Solo Free” category at the Sandy Roberts National Provincials held virtually on Feb. 12 and 13.

Five Junior Free solos qualified from Saskatchewan to compete at the National Qualifiers.

Haley is also a member of the South East Connections Junior Team, which is a team formed with athletes from Weyburn and Estevan that were to attend the Sask Winter Games, which were recently postponed.

Haley is coached by Kim Neithercut and Meagan Rothwell of the Weyburn Artistic Swimming Club.

Haley’s teammates, family, friends and communities wish to congratulate her on this accomplishment and will be cheering her successes at qualifiers.
