The Weyburn Red Wings gathered, for one last time April 21 at McKenna Hall in Weyburn, to hand out hardware at the annual banquet and awards night.

Outgoing president, Ryan Williams, thanked the players, coaches, staff and countless volunteers for another great season. Williams will be stepping down after four years as president of the club.

Coach Dwight McMillan, in his 38th year with the team, echoed Williams' remarks and said "The players should be proud of themselves and the people of Weyburn who support the Wings. They are an important part of keeping hockey alive in the city."

He added, " Probably the biggest thing was the leadership in the dressing room and how the team pulled together and played for each other. We had some talented people who worked well with each other."

Assistant coach, Darcy Pindus, added "I'm proud of the way these young players have developed and matured over the past year and I will miss those graduating this year."

Those graduating include Mitch Kilgore, Jesse Ross, Braden Kmita, Keegan Bruce, Coltyn Sanderson, Kevin Morrison, Dylan Coupal and Jordan Hoffman.
