Weyburn riders take home hardware at SMA banquet

The Weyburn Motocross Track won as Track of the Year, as voted on by all of the SMA riders.

WEYBURN - The Saskatchewan Motocross Association held their year-end banquet in Yorkton on Saturday, and several Weyburn riders came home with hardware, as follows:

Roman Quigley: fifth in 50cc (seven to eight years old)

Emily Quigley: fourth in ladies

Kyler Douglas: Provincial Champion in MX1 Junior, third in MX 3 Junior, and fourth in MX 2 Junior

Zach Douglas: third in MX2 Intermediate, and fourth in MX1 Intermediate

Trevor Douglas: Provincial Champion in Plus 50 and third in Vet Master

Dylan Honig: Provincial Champion in MX2 Junior, Provincial Champion in MX3 Junior, and was awarded the Peterson Trophy for Best All Around Rider with the most Junior Points

Trey Griffin: second in MX1 Junior, second in MX2 Junior, and second in MX3 Junior

Cole Hastings: second in MX1 Intermediate and third in MX3 Intermediate

Ryder Zackrisson: second in MX2 Intermediate, second in MX3 Intermediate, and was awarded the Most Improved Big Wheel Rider trophy

Cody Rouse: second in Pro Am, and second in MX3 Pro
