Jazz band swings 'Jingle Bell Rock'

Petro Bakken Wings win one and lose one this week

In the Wings' first game of the week they hosted their highway 39 rivals from Estevan and won a tough battle 6-4 on December 6. Each team scored once in the first period.

Semester 1 final exams will be held from December 19 to 23 at the Weyburn Comprehensive School. Classes resume for the second semester on January 5, 2012.

Maye Wallace, late of Weyburn passed away December 4, 2011, at the age of 93 years. Maye was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Rebecca Wallace; sister, Margaret Tallman; two brothers, William Wallace and Robert Wallace.

Colleen Weimer, the choral director at the Weyburn Comprehensive, leads the Grade 10 choir through the actions of "Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)", a song previously preformed by the STARS Show Choir at the Communithon.
