With the holiday season upon us, and many people planning road trips to visit family and friends, CAA Saskatchewan is reminding motorists to prepare themselves and their vehicle before heading out. "As we all know, winter weather is unpredictable.

Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall is helping out with the Salvation Army's Christmas fund-raising efforts. He has created an iKettle on his website at www.premier.gov.sk.ca. It's an easy way to donate to the Salvation Army Kettle Campaign.

SaskTel projects that its customers will make approximately 950,000 long distance calls this Christmas Day, December 25. That number includes 700,000 wireline calls and 250,000 wireless long distance calls.
