A new Protection and Response Team (PRT) has been created to aid in the reduction of crime in rural Saskatchewan, announced Attorney General Gordon Wyant on August 22.

The Assiniboia Livestock Auction held a pre-sorted all breeds sale for calves and yearlings on August 15 and a regular cull cow and bull sale on August 16 with a total 1,129 head sold.
