On Wednesday July 18, the Carlyle Rusty Relics Museum appeared just as a snapshot from the 1800's may have looked like, minus the new modern clothing that is.

This year Saskatchewan Express celebrates its 32 years of existence with their Fireworks Summer Tour. A musical/dance group that claims to have Saskatchewan's top talent performs across the province and country.

Moose Mountain Artists' Colony Art Classes will be held in August. Saskatchewan artist Nikki Jacquin will be teaching a variety of classes.

I can't imagine having any other job than the one I have. Although, like anything else, it has its challenges and stresses, being a writer is my idea of the ideal career.

When hearing about the 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede you don't often here about the Best in Show contests. The events most discussed are the controversial chuck wagon races and exciting barrel racing.

I currently had a few days off and decided to head back to the other side of the province; this meant a drive of just over four hours. I always notice the different licence plates I pass or the ones that are on the vehicles which pass me.

One of the greatest summer events, the Annual Summer Celebrations Pow Wow, will be held on Aug. 3, 4, and 5 on the grounds of the Bear Claw Casino and Hotel. The annual summer celebration will be held by White Bear First Nations.

Even though Bill Wyatt does not have kids in Minor Ball, he has always wanted to be a helping hand to the organization. Over the years he has dedicated hours of his life each day to helping the kids, as well as the adult umpires.

Some of you may have heard of Richy Roy, the man with the Emergency Magical Service, but for those who haven't it's time to change that. Richy Roy is currently on a southeast regional library tour stopping at just about every town along the way.

The Rusty Relics Museum plays host to many tourists and visitors during the Carlyle summers, but has recently become a favorite amongst the town's children as well.
