Christmas concerts may not have been put on as usual this year due to COVID-19 but students and teachers still made a fantastic effort to go ahead and rehearse and dress the part for the parents to be able to watch the recorded version.

The Christmas break begins Dec. 19. Students return to school on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021. Have a safe and happy holidays! Thanks to all the students (and their families) who brought in non-perishable food items for the food bank fundraiser this year.

With Health Canada’s approval of the Moderna vaccine for COVID-19, Saskatchewan is anticipating 4,900 doses to arrive in the province the week of Dec. 28, according to a Ministry of Health news release on Dec. 23.

Drilling season drawing to a close for the year, and what a year it was

Saskatchewan’s drilling rig fleet traditionally shuts down over the Christmas holidays, and as of Dec. 18, it looks like that shut down has started. There were eight rigs working in Saskatchewan on Dec. 18, according to Rig Locator ( riglocator.
