Hockey Canada has announced that the 2022 Centennial Cup national junior A hockey championship, presented by Tim Hortons, will still be held in Estevan. An announcement was made Tuesday that the 2022 edition of the event will occur at Affinity Place.

The Town of Midale will not have to turn off its water supply Monday night. In a Facebook post Monday morning, the town said that due to the dangerously low levels of water in the reservoir, the town would be shutting the water off from 10 p.m.
