A wind warning and a blowing snow advisory are in effect for southeast Saskatchewan. The wind warning was issued at 3:45 p.m. Sunday afternoon, and the blowing snow advisory came into effect at 4:35 a.m. Monday.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is reminding South East region residents that cases of COVID-19 are increasing and to book their vaccine appointments when their age categories open.

There are 224 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on March 27, bringing the provincial total to 32,783 cases. There are 11 new cases in the South East region, including three new cases in South East Zone 4, which includes Estevan.

The South East Cornerstone Public School Division says a case of COVID-19 has been diagnosed in an individual attending the Estevan Comprehensive School.

Students at the Oxbow Prairie Horizons School will spend the final week before spring break learning remotely.
