Ogema Agricultural Society held its 103rd annual summer fair on July 8 with something for everyone. Fair day was action-packed starting with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Deep South Museum at 7 a.m., followed by a parade down main street.

I love it when family gets together, always have and I hope I always will.

It was a day to remember, a day to celebrate dedication, and a day to celebrate pride in a newfound home. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada hosted a citizenship ceremony at the Estevan Art Gallery and Museum on July 19.

Small railcars rolled down the railroad between Estevan and Tribune. Interested onlookers paused to wave and look at the cars, which were at one time fixtures on the railroad, and now are a tribute to railway history.

The Old Wives Lake Festival promises entertainment for the whole family on July 28-29. Activities takes place in Mossbank as well as at the watershed bird sanctuary at Old Wives Lake.
