A new partnership between the City of Estevan and the Estevan Arts Council will improve the appearance of the community while celebrating Canada’s milestone birthday.

For more than 65 years, the Saskatchewan Abilities Council (SAC) has been dedicated to providing programs and services to people with disabilities in the province.

The Assiniboia and District Public Library started up its children’s summer reading programs. The TD Summer Reading Club Summer Fun Time at the Library began on July 6 and it runs Thursdays until August 24. The program facilitator is Amanda Franks.

We’ve just celebrated Canada Day, the 150 th birthday of the country I call home.

July 1 was a day to celebrate in the southeast region and across the country, thanks to Canada’s 150th birthday. Several communities in the southeast region held events to mark the milestone.

The Assiniboia and District Library has a full slate of activities planned for the summer. The TD summer reading program will be running on Thursday afternoons from July 6 to August 24. The time is yet to be confirmed.

Estevan – This year's golf tournament, which will be held on July 21st at the Estevan TS&M Woodlawn Golf Course, is sure to be a great time once again.

The Wood Mountain Wagon Train will take place once again this year from Monday to Friday, July 3-7.
