Habitat for Humanity (HFH) is coming to Estevan. The local chapter of this international, non-governmental, non-profit organization that builds simple and affordable homes for others, received their official local chapter status on Feb.

A teacher and students from Fort Qu’Appelle paid a visit to the Estevan Public Library to teach an important lesson to guests.

Kelly Panteluk Construction Ltd. (KPCL) has been saluted for their support of the upcoming Saskatchewan Summer Games in Estevan. KPCL was recognized as a diamond sponsor of the Games on Feb. 25 at the Estevan Leisure Centre.

A man and a woman went to a restaurant for a meal. The lady sat quietly while the man ate. Concerned, the waitress said to the woman “You’re not eating. Is anything wrong?” “Oh no. I’m just waiting for the teeth,” the woman replied.

Members of the Estevan Kinettes Club spent several hours on Saturday helping others in the community during the Kinsmen and Kinettes’ National Day of Kindness.

For the sake of those who did not see it, let me say Super Bowl 2016 was one of the greatest football games ever. Whenever the best teams meet in a championship match the fans get a treat.

This week I did something I don't ever recall having done before and if I have, I've forgotten about it.
