Pioneer Day Camp at the Souris Valley Museum kicked off on Monday where local children can have some summer fun learning about the history of the Estevan area.

Author and illustrator Craig Terlson launched his new literary young adult novel, Fall in One Day, which combines the true history of government LSD testing in the 1950s with a coming-of-age tale that takes place two decades later.

The Estevan Art Gallery and Museum (EAGM) has started another year of its Summer Arts Camps. The camp season started on Monday with their Art Scientists camp, which ran until Thursday.
