A former teacher and contractor has turned his love of building in an artistic direction, as he now enjoys the “tedious” work of making stained glass windows and other projects.

A near perfect spring day combined with many talented artisans and performers made for another memorable Arts in the Park Festival in Rockglen on June 10.

The Weyburn Car Club will host their 16th annual Show and Shine in downtown Weyburn on Saturday, June 17. Registration for the Show and Shine will be held in the Weyburn Royal Canadian Legion, downstairs in the Vimy Room, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Estevan Art Gallery and Museum (EAGM) has revealed the women who will be part of the Heroines exhibit this summer. Heroines will display portraits and biographies of 18 women who have played an important role in the community.
