The stories of three immigrant women who relocate to Canada and struggle with the pains of adapting to unfamiliar customs, will be told in the upcoming play “Displaced”.

The photography exhibit “I Will Remember You” by photographer Barry Malesh will be featured at the Kay Cristo Room at the Prince of Wales Centre for the months of January and February for the Assiniboia and District Arts Council’s Arts Up! series.

A journey of self-exploration led Chris Borshowa to creating his newest photography exhibit, “Becoming Human”, which will be on display starting mid-February until the end of March.

It was a year to remember for former Estevan resident Joel Henderson. Henderson, who performs under the name Poor Nameless Boy, will be at the Estevan Art Gallery and Museum (EAGM) on Jan. 27 for a concert through the EAGM’s After Dark series.

The Shurniak Gallery will host a concert of the Twin Fiddles on Thursday, February 2 at 2 p.m. Twin Fiddles is made up of two award winning fiddle players Gordon Stobbe, a Saskatchewan-born Nova Scotian, and Saskatchewan’s JJ Guy.

Although Estevan is still thoroughly within the grip of winter, the Souris Valley Theatre board of directors is looking forward to when things start warming up for another season.
