Galleries feature the work of local artists with gala reception

April is Local Artist Month at the local galleries. All three galleries feature the work of local artists. A Gala Reception will be held on Friday, April 25 beginning at the Signal Hill Art Gallery at 7 p.m.

The Weyburn Police Service have recovered power tools along with some hand tools in a stolen vehicle, and would like the public's help in identifying them so they could be returned to the rightful owners.

Special Day of Pink event to be held in city on Apr. 9

In four weeks, a Day of Pink will be held in Weyburn by the Canadian Red Cross. This special day was created to celebrate respect and to encourage others to join anti-bullying movements.

Library to hold book sale

The Weyburn Public Library is preparing for the first book sale of the year set for Tuesday, April 1 to Thursday, April 3. The book sale will be open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
