The Weyburn Public Library is preparing for the first book sale of the year set for Tuesday, April 1 to Thursday, April 3. The book sale will be open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Elise Colbow, McKinley Thomas-Perry and Adysson Jackson play hillbilly sisters, who were just offered $25,000 to sell their family's story and can't imagine what they would do with "so much money", in a musical called "Fussin' an' a- Feudin'".

The Weyburn Public Library held their annual general meeting on March 4 to celebrate the past year and to look to the future.

The sun has set on an era of Weyburn's history, as the history-making, precedent-setting independently owned and operated Weyburn Inland Terminal has now been sold off to a private grain company, Parrish & Heimbecker, subject to court approval.
