Music is everywhere around us all the time. It is another language that people understand, but a language not everyone can speak; everyone can appreciate music, yet may not be able to play an instrument.

Presale tickets are now available for the Dean Brody concert, planned for Saturday, Aug. 3 during Weyburn's Centennial celebrations.

Jesse Sidloski begins "The Song of the Count" with his solo, while other members of the Weyburn Comprehensive STARS Show Choir perform with him.

"Urinetown", the musical, is on stage starting tonight with the Rotary Dinner Theatre and then public performances on May 5 at 2:00 p.m. and through May 8, 10 and 11 at 7:30 p.m.

The Weyburn 13th annual Old Tyme Fiddle Contest was held on April 27 at McKenna Hall. Championship winners were James Steele of Saskatoon taking First place, Paul Dacier of Moose Jaw coming in Second and Patrick Tinant of Bellegarde in Third place.
