The Weyburn Crocus Quilt Guild will be offering a unique show on October 27. Anna Hergert, an award winning fabric artist from Buffalo Pound, will be in Weyburn offering a trunk show entitled, 'Choosing Creativity'.

Queen Elizabeth School students bring out bags of donated food to the tractor and trailer parked in front of the school picking up the donations, for the "Drive Away Hunger" campaign to help the Salvation Army's Food Bank on Thursday.

In the last while the issue of a new stadium for Regina for the Saskatchewan Roughriders has come up as a major issue for that city's municipal election.

"Go for your dreams because you never know how they will work out," Sharon Elliott likes to tell women. She recently achieved her own dream of flying a hot-air balloon. "For me, flying a hot-air balloon is quite magical," said Elliott.
