The 35 th annual James Weir People’s Choice Exhibition will open for viewing on Tuesday, Jan. 5 at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery. The James Weir contest is the longest running show of its kind in Western Canada, and it will be open from Jan.

A talented musician from southeast Saskatchewan who has performed in the Estevan area on many occasions has taken top spot in the Best Saskatchewan Albums of the Year contest, organized by SaskMusic.

Estevan area residents were treated to a drive-in concert courtesy of Saskatchewan country music singer Justin LaBrash on Saturday.

An acclaimed Saskatchewan country musician will be in Estevan for a drive-in concert on Dec. 19. Justin LaBrash and his band True North will be performing their Jingle Bell Rock show at the Affinity Place parking lot at 3 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.

Entry submissions are being sought for the annual James Weir People’s Choice exhibit, which is known as the longest running art exhibit of its kind in Western Canada.
