The Estevan Farmers' Market is back with all the goods, fresh foods and amenities locals have come to expect.

At their meeting on April 23, Council approved the concept plan by Nicor for the development of the Souris Valley Land area. The concept plan is a three-phase development that includes smaller lots for single family homes and multi-family homes.

The Board of Education recently moved a motion to retain the name 'Weyburn Comprehensive School' for the new facility and the motion was accepted. A naming committee had been devised to provide recommendations.

Cenovus Energy Inc. has recognized four contractors for outstanding safety performance at the company's Weyburn operations.

The 2012 Pink Day has been set for Wednesday, May 2nd. We are hoping that this year will be bigger and better. As a committee we would like to include the business community in our day's activities.
