The final result may not have been for the a winning one for the host Saskatchewan team but the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #60 in Estevan still hosted a memorable Dominion 8-ball championship last weekend.

This season in roller derby has been rolling along well for the Coaler Rollers. The Rollers hosted a tournament at the Bienfait Memorial Arena last weekend and were able to attract teams from Saskatoon, Calgary and Regina for a few games.

Minor baseball in Bienfait grew a bit over the offseason. While there were five last year, there are now a total of seven teams in three divisions, at least two per minor division, this season, in Bienfait Minor Ball.

Rylie Scott of the Estevan Gymnastics Club took fifth place in provincials in her age group as members of the club took part in provincials last week in Prince Albert.

A total of nine members of the Estevan Sharks water polo teams headed out to California for the Sailor Cup tournament with some other members of the province’s best.

It was a busy but winning day at the track for a couple of Estevan drivers who took advantage of their programs on the Tougher Than Dirt Tour at the Estevan Motor Speedway Saturday night.

The offseason for Estevan Minor Hockey product Brayden Pachal is simple: working out, a little bit of golf and not worrying about the 2018 NHL draft. According to the NHL draft rankings, Pachal is a bit of a longshot to get drafted.
