Former Estevan Bruins defenceman Nick Egan has passed away, the Mercury has learned. Egan is believed to have died of a heart attack. Egan, 21, is a native of New Jersey, growing up near Philadelphia.

Canadian PGA golfer Graham DeLaet of Weyburn withdrew from the Bridgestone Invitational Tournament on Sunday with the flu, following a rough third round where he posted a six-over par result.
