Santa Claus lends a hand to a beginner skater as other families watch, waiting for a turn to skate with him or pose for a photo, during the City of Weyburn’s Skate with Santa event hosted on Sunday afternoon at the Tom Zandee Sports Arena.

Local Color by Amber stylists presented the Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop Corp. with a donation of $600 to be put towards programming needs. The money was raised through the “Women Supporting Women Jewellery Fashion Show and Fundraiser” held recently.

The James Weir People’s Choice art exhibition is now open for entries by artists from Weyburn and the southeast region. The annual art competition will be on display from Jan. 5 to Feb. 9, 2017, and the reception and awards will be held on Feb.
