Weyburn Rotary Club member Jill Thorn shared a presentation to the club about a trip she and a relative, Lila Jensen, made to Denmark and Norway, to find out more about her ancestors before they immigrated to Canada in the 1880s.

Each summer the members of the Town and Country Women club tour places in Saskatchewan, and this year they went to the Burns House bed and breakfast between Pangman and Ogema. It was named after the original owners.

Michael James Carroll, age 68, passed away in hospital after a brief illness on Sunday, September 25th, 2016. He was born in Regina on August 4, 1948 and attended Balfour Collegiate.
