Saskatchewan elementary and high school students particiapted in a province-wide Student Vote program for the provincial election. There were over 20,000 elementary and high school students to cast ballots on Wednesday and Thursday.

There is a world-wide push to bring safe water to millions around the world, especially on World Water Day.

A new baseball season will be planned by the Weyburn Beavers baseball club at their upcoming annual general meeting. The annual general meeting will be held in the Community Room at the Weyburn Credit Union on Tuesday, March 29, at 7:30 p.m.

Edge Halladay Sr ... a strong, gentle husband, father, grandfather who is now resting peacefully. Edge passed Saturday, March 5 at the age of 78. He fought a battle with cancer since 1997. He succumbed to his 7th battle against cancer.

Arthur “Robert” Thue was born October 27, 1947, at Radville. He passed away at the age of 68 on March 14, 2016, at the Radville Marion Health Centre. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Art and Ione Thue.
