Telemiracle has launched a seven-month campaign called MyTelemiracleStory.com to collect stories and memories about Telemiracle from the people of Saskatchewan.

“Atonement”, the upcoming mixed martial arts event hosted by Prestige Fight Club will be a huge draw for Weyburn. Especially, after a new fight was just added to the card for Saturday, October 24.

Events displaced due to floor deficiency

As most of my readers know, this is our first issue in the new era of Weyburn This Week. I hope you enjoy the fresh, new look and embrace the same changes that I will be.

Next week, the All Candidates Forum for Souris-Moose Mountain will be held by the Chamber, and this is our chance to ask the questions that matter — so we can make an educated choice.

Harvest is well underway. Over the years, I have not had to be a major part of the harvest operations around our farm. There was always more than enough help.

(Submitted) - This week is fairly quiet at Weyburn Comprehensive School with a boys' soccer game vs. Moose Jaw Central being held at Jubilee Park on Wednesday. The boys' volleyball team also played games in Estevan on September 9.

The Weyburn Branch of the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society will resume their monthly meetings on September 15, after adjourning for the summer. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Weyburn Public Library.
