Weyburn Review

Through the Ministry of Justice, Corrections and Policing contributed $220,000 to the City of Weyburn to continue funding for two police officers.

The Saskatchewan Order of Merit - the province's highest honour - is getting a new nomination deadline and a new investiture date to prepare for its 30th anniversary next year. The deadline for both 2014 and 2015 nominations is November 1, 2014.

The Government of Saskatchewan has signed a renewed Gas Tax Agreement with the Government of Canada, which will provide $56.3 million to municipalities for infrastructure projects in 2014-15.
