Emergency Services at Kipling Memorial Hospital to be reduced

The Sun Country Health Region will be reducing emergency services during the evening hours at the Kipling Memorial Hospital until July 9. Due to a nursing shortage, the health region has reduced the emergency department to the hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.

Entries open for Legacy Golf tourney

Council approves rezoning of land for Meadows, Creeks

Weyburn city council gave final approval for rezoning for one subdivision development, and gave first reading for another development which will allow for a new hotel on Highway 13 east, and high-density residential development.

Police respond to many complaints

The Weyburn Police Services had a busy weekend, as they responded to complaints of impaired driving, noise complaints, and domesticated situations. On Friday, police received a complaint about an intoxicated male that entered an apartment building.
