Weyburn city taxpayers received word this past week that there will be a slight tax increase for 2014, with all residential taxpayers and condo owners to see an increase of $40 on the base tax, and commercial property owners to see a 3.

Dana Illerbrun, of Shaunavon, died suddenly at Shaunavon on Friday, February 28, 2014 at the age of 47 years. Dana was born at Midale on November 8, 1966 to Doris and Arnold Holtz. She attended Midale Central School from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
