The Weyburn Rotary Club has a role in helping with international projects, in addition to the many local projects and causes they give support to throughout the year.

Police received a complaint about a group of individuals going through vehicles in the area of the Weyburn Comprehensive School on March 14. The people could not be found.

Benjamin Robert "Ben" Dreger passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the age of 83 years. Ben was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Helena Dreger; brothers, Charles and Ernest Dreger and sister, Freida Blucker.

Mervin Alvin Joseph Guillemin of Assiniboia passed away on January 7, 2014 at the age of 54 years. Mervin was born in Fillmore on March 10, 1959, the oldest of four children born to Armand and Edith (nee Kallstrom) Guillemin.

With heavy hearts, the Bjorklund family announces that Vernon W. Bjorklund died peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2014 in Weyburn. Vern was born on June 25, 1930 to Andrew and Inga Bjorklund, of Bromhead.

Bryan Allen Towne passed away Sunday March 9, 2014 at his home in Halbrite. Bryan was born March 19, 1938 on the family farm in the Midale district. He was the youngest of four children.
