Municipal members of SUMA (Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association) have been busy of late, with a gathering first on municipal policing, followed by regional meetings held around the province.

Gordon Pow, late of Weyburn, passed away September 29, 2013, at the age of 97 years. Gordon was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Elspeth Pow; his wife Elsie Pow; brother John Pow; sister Marjorie Yingst; grandson Trevor Roesslein.

Weyburn celebrated culture and the arts with the Culture Days event held over the weekend of Sept. 27-29, at various venues around the city.
