Every four years, emergency services are tested through staged accidents. The Weyburn Airport Emergency plan was carried out Tuesday with Weyburn EMS, the fire department, city police and RCMP involved.

Pool temporarily closed for repair

The Weyburn Leisure Centre pool will be closed effective immediately to repair a damaged underwater light. The damaged light was discovered this week and due to safety concerns will have to be repaired as soon as possible.
