Police investigating numerous thefts

Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the week of July 21 to July 28: During the reporting period, police dealt with 119 calls for service, including more thefts from motor vehicles. Police remind residents that these are crimes of opportunity.

A special time capsule will be opened during Weyburn's centennial, when the class of 1988 meets for a 25-year reunion. The time capsule was created in 1988 by the graduating class.
