A collaborative event between the Weyburn Public Library and Weyburn Comprehensive School will be held on August 1 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Weyburn Youth Art Show and Sale will showcase young talent in celebration of Weyburn's Centennial.

The third annual Beef-a-Rama took place July 13 at the Community fair grounds in the SportsPlex at Glenavon, Saskatchewan.

The Weyburn Wildlife Federation has started an Archery Club with a facility secured to have a year round indoor archery lane. The facility is located in the Goodwater Curling rink which will serve the Weyburn and surrounding area.

Sun Country Regional Health Authority approved the location for a new primary health clinic in Weyburn at a special meeting on July 19.

Residents take a dip in the pool at the Weyburn Leisure Centre on Wednesday afternoon, during a free swim. Free swims are open to the public from 1:15 to 5 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and children and youth get in free.
