D'Arcy John Dighans was born in Midale on June 6, 1953 to John and Irma Dighans. He grew up on a farm 4 1/2 miles south of Rockglen. D'Arcy was the oldest of three, two younger sisters, Monica and Kathryn.

Lake Alma (cpd) - Rain, Rain, go away. There has been way too much rain come at one time. During Thursday and Friday there was anywhere from two plus inches in some places to four plus inches in other places.

The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce is alerting residents to a change in the parade route. The Chamber changed the route to avoid construction and high traffic areas in town caused by the extreme growth the city is experiencing.
