The Saskatchewan Roughriders dropped their third game in a row, and are still struggling with fourth quarter issues.

The City of Weyburn will hold their fall city-wide registration on Wednesday, Aug. 22. This event is open to sport, culture and recreation groups that want to promote their activities. The city-wide registration will be held 6 to 8 p.m.

Sonia Alton, late of Weyburn, passed away peacefully in the early hours of August 7, 2012 in the Weyburn General Hospital at the age of 84 years.

Bill Rudachyk shows the ball and the club he used to get his very first hole-in-one, on the 18th green at the Weyburn Golf Club. Rudachyk used a hybrid six iron to achieve this feat, which was witnessed by Mel Hoffman and Jerry Poole on Aug.
