Sun Country Health Region has announced that tenders have been awarded for construction of two long term care projects. A tender was awarded to Ledcor Construction Ltd. for $18,724.

Both volleyball teams made the quarter-finals at provincial SHSAA championships recently but were unable to advance further in the playoffs. "Congratulations to the players and coaches for a successful season," said Bob King.
