The Cugnet Centre was the home of the annual Inspirations of Dace competition hosted by Marley’s Dance Effex in Weyburn from Thursday, March.12 to Sunday, March.15.

The Government of Saskatchewan announced that all classes in Saskatchewan pre K-12 schools will be suspended indefinitely, effective Friday, March 20, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Lamb is a common component of spring meals. Lamb is a go-to dish for springtime religious celebrations, most notably Easter dinners. Many cultures have their own unique takes on preparing lamb, which can be enjoyed in chops, roasts and even in stews.

While concern over spread of Coronavirus COVID-19 continues to rise, the risk in Saskatchewan still remains low but is increasing. The decision to close schools is made upon the advice of the provincial Chief Medical Health Officer.

MP Kitchen to continue to offer services

Weyburn photographer-artist Chris Borshowa opened a new exhibit of photos, entitled, “How to Destroy Demons”, at the Allie Griffin Art Gallery on Friday evening. The show will be on until Wednesday, April 22.
