A burst of nature's fireworks exploded in the skies over Weyburn on Wednesday night, as a very active thunderstorm rolled quickly through the city and area late in the evening.

The Weyburn Police Service received an unconfirmed report that there were three drug overdoses in the city on the weekend due to other drugs being laced with fentanyl.
