The Southeast Saskatchewan Oilman of the Year award was presented to Dennis Day of Fast Trucking at the Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show on Wednesday evening in the Weyburn Curling Rink.

Weyburn police received a report of a break-and-enter and assault in progress on Sunday. Upon attending to the residence, a male with non-life threatening injuries was observed.
