A brother-and-sister team, Dayton and Grady Kopec, did their annual back alley cleanup on Maple Drive on Monday, which was Earth Day, to kick off Earth Week.

Cindy Ann Boehm has officially opened up her doggy daycare business called Fido’s Place. The “daycare” provides dog owners a place to bring their beloved pets during the day to be taken care of.

The Weyburn Concert Series will present Chris Collins and Boulder Canyon, as a tribute to the late John Denver, on Thursday, May 2 at the Cugnet Centre at 7:30 p.m.

The fifth annual Duck Derby will be held on Sunday, June 16, in conjunction with the Opportunity Road Race in the morning and Trails Day in the afternoon. The duck derby is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
