The momentum is growing for the pro-resource rally to be held in Moosomin on Saturday, Feb. 16, and in a federal election year, this is something the ruling Liberals in Ottawa should pay attention to — or ignore, at their own peril.

Federal Opposition Leader Andrew Scheer, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe, and Saskatchewan Senator Denise Batters will visit Moosomin on the February long weekend to speak at a pro-pipeline, pro-resource rally.

The 2019 Communithon will be going “retro”, as they will be returning to the Legion Hall where the event had been held for many years before it was moved to the Weyburn Comp School.

The Weyburn Red Wings played a home-and-home series against the Estevan Bruins over the weekend. First to host the Highway 39 rivalry was Weyburn on Friday night. Before the game even started, tensions were high in Crescent Point Place.
