Weyburn Review

Tanis Suzanne (Pitzel) VanDeSype was born May 2, 1972 at the Weyburn General Hospital and passed away December 17, 2017 at the age of 45 years. Tanis was raised in a loving family and was the third daughter of Bert and Leona (Zerff) Pitzel.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Martha Cooper. She entered this world October 21, 1940 and passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side Dec 15, 2017 at the age of 77.

The St. Michael Glee Club sang three songs as part of the school’s junior high Christmas concert on Wednesday evening in the school gym. Their songs included “How Far I’ll Go”, “Mary, Did You Know?” and “Jingle Bell Dash”.

The elves sang “Santa You’re a Pretty Cool Dude” to Santa Claus, in a scene from the Christmas musical, “Reining in the Reindeer”, performed by Grades 3-6 students at Assiniboia Park School on Wednesday.
